This has got to be one of the hair brainest ideas ever. I don't know what K and I were thinking when we came up with this idea. I had to throw away my plate, and I also have fingernail polish all over my hands. I hope you faired better K. Anyways here's my fingernail polish on ice.

It's really interesting watching both of you come out with completely different results. This one looks like a swiss roll gone wrong. I don't want to even think about the mess!! Nice colours.

Glad people are stopping by saying ideas and good things to you ree.. i am not getting much feedback on my end... this looks great... yeah i tossed my bowl lol it came out nasty and boy it melted FAST EWW yeah... i dont think polish and ice will be something i do again ahaha WOOT... i will be working on our shot after dinner... cant wait to see how you fair with this one :D

By the time I was done with this, I had nail polish everywhere. The one and only thing it didn't get on was my camera. :-) I'll be thinking twice about some of these crazy ideas next time...ahahaha.

Rhiannonsmommy -I must say I am VERY impressed with your challenges - that is a lot to come up with an idea like this, get it composed and taken all within 24 hours. But, I also must say, this one gives me the creepies a little - too much like blood and that purplish tint - very spooky-movie-ish. I will watch the upcoming themses with great interest!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a cool result! A bit of sidelighting and more oomph into that ice would really have made this pop. I love the curving shapes in the image frame. A wonderful way to achieve your personal two-way challenge. Well done.
