Day 15 "Horsey Friends"

I'm really struggling. This is getting so tough.

  1. This is cool. They do look like good pals, and you have done a fairly good job with the lighting to keep the background light.

But don't throw in the towel. Try to sit and think of your subjects for each day in advance. Making a plan helps me so much. You may not shoot them all in the same order, but they will give you some structure. I find that if I have none of that, I wake up each day in a panic about what I am to shoot and can't think of anything. If you have a list you can then run your eye down and find something that suits for the day. Sometimes it helps to narrow your choices by narrowing your theme...

    Just don't give up!

  2. Yes, it does get hard doesn't it? Please be encouraged to keep going. You did so well last time :-)

    Well done for posting today.

  3. This would look great in my theme!

I think you are showing just enough of the two of them so that we are able to see all the close up details.

I love your horse photos, I loved the photo of Thor in the low light comp. I hope I find my old horses before the end of the month.

That is a great idea of Kim's - planning ahead. I am going to make a list around the house of some options in the next few days.

  4. Don't you dare give up now, we are half way home :-)
As others have said, the trick to this is planning ahead even if it's for a few days, then it won't seem as hard.
Your horses are really good, your compositions have improved so much, well done!

  6. You're past the halfway mark! Don't give up!! I like the way you set these guys up, leaving bits to the imagination.

  7. Lovely shot of the horsies with their wild curling manes :) I know how you feel, believe me. As kim said, plan ahead. Works great on those days when you're pressed for time and you can only take a shot or two. If it weren't for my subthemes, I'd be in panic mode right now :)
